Here is a list of addons that I use, you do not have to get all of them, however some are crucial to play wow.Deadly Boss Mods (DBM)- this is a MUST HAVE FOR RAIDING, it displays timers for when bosses do stuff, as well as warnings if you are doing something wrong.

GatherMate- If you gather (mining, herbalism) this is a good addon. Its displays every possible location you can find an herb or ore.

ArkInventory- Opens up all bags at once into one giant box, as well as bank and guild bank. Tells you where items are ie: bank, bag, or another character. Also has a search bar to find specific items in ur bags.

AtlasLoot- If you want to know where a piece of gear comes from this is helpful. Shows you currency needed for any piece of gear and where it comes from.

Auctioneer- Makes browsing the AH a lot easier.

BuyEmAll- tired of buying a max stack of 20? Get this addon to buy 500 or 1000 or 356 of some item (you can type in what ever number u want.

HealBot- THIS IS NOT A BOT, its a unit frame for healers. There are also other healing addons this one is just very simple.

mailget- When you have a lot of mail click one button and it opens everything for you.

Recount- tracks all damage, healing, deaths, dispells, anything you want and puts it in a chart. Often in game you get asked whats ur DPS or HPS.

Shadowed Unit Frames- My favorite unit frames, people also like Xpearl.

Silver Dragon- For those who want to hunt rare monsters.

Slam Alert- Screen flashes when stuff procs.

Underachiever- Fakes ALL achievments so you can link one to get into a raid.

WIM (wow istant messenger)- Opens up chat boxes for each person you whisper. Also saves every whisper ever sent.

Diablo 3 Blacksmith

    The new crafting system in Diablo 3 is one of the best features they put out into the game. Blacksmiths can be found throughout the world, but in the beginning of the game you use the one in New Tristram. The blacksmith has hundreds of recipes to forge weapons and armor for every class in the game.
    Creating gear is NOT how you level up blacksmithing. it is a skill that you use through an NPC, so in order to level up the blacksmith you pay him to learn new recipes. In the beginning its only about 2,000 gold per level. However once you get higher the gold drastically increases. For example at level five you have to start paying 15,000 gold per level. The blacksmith has three main functions, salvaging armor which gives you the raw materials, and crafting armor and weapons. Here is a list of salvageable materials.

Normal: Subtle Essence (magic), Fallen Tooth (rare)

Nightmare: Shimmering Essence (magic), Lizard Eye (rare)

Hell: Wishful Essence (magic), Encrusted Hoof (rare)

Inferno: Exquisite Essence (magic), Iridescent Tear (rare), Fiery Brimstone (legendary)                           *inferno mode is the only mode that offers legendary crafting materials*

  

 DIABLO 3 GAME PLAY

     Literally ran out of my house today to go buy this game once I found out how amazing it was. Blizzard has really out done themselves with this game and it has been WELL WORTH the wait. I was a huge fan of Diablo II, played it every day when i got home from school. Currently I am playing a Witch Doctor which to me is so much fun because I used to play the Necromancer back in Diablo II.
    With Doctor is so much fun to play because you are always at a distance from your enemy. You summon monsters and minions to help you in combat, as well as cast spells to power them up and yourself. I recently just beat the Skeleton King which is the first real challenge you face in the game.
    Now for the graphics. This video doesn't do them justice because something is wrong with my new recorder so I am going back to my old one. However in game it is so clear and beautiful (even though everything is dark and fiery). I HIGHLY recommend getting this game if you were a big fan of Diablo II. You WILL NOT be disappointed in this game.

WoW Arenas and Keybindings!

   Whats up everyone this is mcpuff again bringing you another video. Instead of making a guide this week i wanted to share how I keybind for WoW. This is just a video of me doing an arena with a friend but I used my gopro to record my hand so you can see that I am not a clicker.
   If you click in wow you are bad, it is impossible to be good if you click in wow because you can not click as fast as pushing buttons. The easiest way to keybind is use keys close to you movement. I like to use q,e,r,t,y,f,g,v,c,h,` and then 1,2,3,4, and thats about it. Most of the time i use my mouse to move around and use my keyboard simply to attack. GET INTO ANY RAID!!

   Are you guys tired of getting kicked out of a raid because you don't have the stupid achievement? But you already ran this boss a million times on your main character and you have the gear to do it on your alt! But still there going to be achievement natzi's and not let you in. Well not anymore!
   In this video i show you an addon that fakes all your achievements! Yes it creates a fake date for every single achievement. By going into the configure settings you can even change when you want it to randomize a date. No more getting kicked out of raids for not having achievements!     This addon makes life SO EASY, it opens up all your bags into one giant box. This might not sound like much but trust me, have you ever sat there shuffling threw your bags looking for an item? Well not only does this addon open everything in one box but it has a search bar. So now when your digging through your bank or bags you can simply type in the name of the item you are looking for and it highlights it for you.
    Lets say your like me and you have many other characters, well this addon tells you where each item is located. Simply hover over the item and it tells you where the item its, which character, how many, if its in bag or bank, or even guild bank!

Alright guys I know I havent posted anything in a long time and thats because im in the Dominican Republic right now. Brought my gopro2 along with me. Been recording a lot of stuff from the ocean to flipping in the pool, hopefully I can edit everything and have it ready when i come home. I also have some more videos sitting on my computer that need editing a couple more addons to talk about. Hopefully i get all this stuff out when I come back.

  I have two more neat addons I wanted to show everyone and kind of review. They are called Atlas Loot Enhanced and Recount.
  Atlas Loot is really cool because it shows you EVERY possible piece of loot that drops from ANYWHERE. It shows even gear you can get from any profession, any reputation. It even goes so far as to break down the reputation into the gear you get when honored, friendly, exalted etc. The addon also shows gear from all the world events, as well as every raid and dungeon, including the ones back in Vanilla wow. This addon comes in handy when trying to gear up and figure out the best way to get the gear. So in my case i looked at the addon and found out that my druid relic will be 700 valor points, but the cloak is 1250 and that's best in slot. It also allows me to figure out which bosses in which dungeons are important to me for getting gear.

   Recount is a vitally important addon to have especially for raiding. This addon shows all the damage done, the healing done, how many deaths, damage over time, and like 15 other things. Now where this gets really cool is you can click on a persons name in any of those category's and it will show you exactly what that person did. So for example when i'm testing out my DPS i can click my name and see how much damage each spell is hitting for. Or when someone dies in raid i can click their name and see why they took so much damage and died.

    Today i'm going to show you guys this new cool addon i got called Shadowed Unit Frames. This is a very good addon if you raid like i do. It lets you totally customize all the frames on your screen. It makes it very easy to view what you want where you want.
   For example i changed some settings around so that when i'm attacking a boss or player it only shows the debuff's that i put on, because i don't care what other people are doing. I also have it set to show me who my target is targeting, very useful for raiding and seeing if the tank has aggro. It also supplies a great party frame and raiding frames, but i don't use the raiding frames. There is so much customizing that the addon allows you to change the colors of anything, perhaps your color blind and need to change the colors. Its allows you to even block some of WoW's UI.

    This is just a quick video showing everyone my characters that i currently have. Its a short video basically explaining how i went through Cata, and where my characters are right now. This video basically goes with the last one, but I wanted to make two shorter videos instead of one long video. There is nothing really important in the video basically just showing you what I have

    Alright guys I know its been a long time since I have posted here, but i have been playing some World Of Warcraft lately, and well today is Tuesday so that means servers are down and I can make videos!
    So i have been playing wow ever since vanilla, but today i'm here to talk about Cata. My first level 85 was an   Orc Warrior on Zuluhed. My guild was ranked #3 for some time for raiding 10 man raids. Then I did a realm change with my hunter who was 80 at the time. I moved to Cho'gall and there i joined another raiding guild finishing up Black Wing Descent and Bastion of Twilight. I took a break for a while around here because of school, but i picked up again now
    My friend used the Scroll of Ressurection and brought me back with a free week of wow and a free level 80, I chose a druid. I leveled him to 85 in about 14 hours which is pretty fast for most people. Started doing some raids and dungeons and realized I hate playing druids. So now i'm working on my 4th level 85 my death knight whom i will be making videos with shortly.

      So this is almost a two for one deal on this video. Today I cover the character creation relatively quickly and then a quick first look at the starting zone.

Races:

Humans: Standard human class nothing special about them

Castanic: Basically a mix between human and elf instead of long ears they have weird horns

Aman: Giant brawlers, best used for as a lancer because they are big

Popori: A not male not female bear / ferret / cute animal mix

Elin: Female only class, basically a little girl, very funny to watch in combat

Baraka: People made of stone, males only

High Elf: Humans with big ears lol

Classes

Warrior: Duel wielding swords, wears leather and tanks by dodge and jumping

Lancer: Face roll tank just stand there and takes no damage has giant shield and lance

Slayer: Two handed sword wielding that wears leather for fast mobility

Beserker: Two handed axe, has a lot of area of effect damage

Sorcerer: Typical mage from any MMO

Archer: Bow and arrow with leather gear, one of the easier classes in TERA

Priest: Great healer

Mystic: Healer that summons pets to help heal and buff, needed more often the priests

      A really cool feature that this game has that not many other do is that you can make any race and class combination you have. There are no limits you can make an elin (the small girl) and make her your tank! It does not matter.

      Alright guys its finally here! The second TERA video! Last night I was running the first dungeon with my friends, The Bastion of Lok. The dungeon has multiple rooms with trash mobs in them, then two bosses one in the middle, and one to the end.
     The first boss was really easy, and then i turned around to realize we only completed phase one... Turn around and bam a giant molten rock elemental thing comes out of no where. He is very annoying because you can only really DPS from behind. He is constantly doing a cleave and throwing stuff in front of him.
    It only takes about 20-30 minutes to finish the whole dungeon. Most of the time spent is fighting bosses. Traveling through the dungeon is easy because the mobs are, well easy. Whats really cool about TERA is that all the bosses are HUGE! Each one has its own unique design as well, there are very few creatures / bosses that share the same model.
    The last boss was a pain in the butt because we didn't kill the last room we went straight to the boss. If you don't kill everything in the dungeon it comes running to you when you attack the final boss... oops.

Im rendering a video right now but its going to take about 40 minutes, gotta love the HD. This is my first dungeon video for TERA. Its called "The Bastion of Lok." If I don't get it up tonight then I will have it up bright and early don't worry.

IT'S HERE IT'S FINALLY HERE MY FIRST TERA VIDEO!
    So after some quick playing i was able to pull together a little something to release right now. I know its bad, the others will be better! I was a little rushed because there was so much I wanted to say, but i did not want to make a long video out of it.
    Pretty much I explained how the combat works in the game. You attack what ever is in front of you, no tab targeting like WOW, Rift, LOTR, or other MMORPG's. This brings a totally new play style to this game. Every object acts as a solid object so there is no running through bosses, mobs, or even players. It requires more skill to find out what the mobs are doing because there are NO CAST TIMERS. That's right! For example in WOW you could get an addon that would tell you ok boss is casting frostbolt in 10 seconds. But in TERA you have to know ok. hes moving his hands like that here comes a frost bolt, or ok the boss is charging up move to the sides. It creates a totally new play style that has never really been done before.
    TERA did a wonderful job with the art as well. They took there time in making MANY different creates and bosses. No more killing boars at level 1, now you can kill giant golems and stuff that's on fire! I will be making a video of the starting zone so everyone can check it out

ITS FRIDAY!!! THAT MEANS TERA BETA!
   All weekend I will be recording my gameplay. I really want to put out about four videos for everyone, one on the starting area, another on the customizable UI, another for a dungeon, and a battleground. I'm going to be playing all weekend and hopefully putting out videos sunday or monday, so get ready!

   This is an old clip from retail wow but I figured I would share it with you guys. This was one of my alts a goblin shaman named Mcpuff. Have you ever been in Eye of the Storm and gotten knocked off the cliff by a shaman? Well I was tired of that happening to me so I decided to troll back. See the annoying thing about this is when you fall off the map you have to wait to fall to your death. Another added bonus is your armour takes durability damage and you have to pay for it.
   

    Yeah I know its not a gaming video, but there is something cool about this! Found this guy on YouTube who makes AWESOME Dubstep (as featured in this video) So basically he has a couple of remixes of songs that he found, some original stuff, and more on the way.

     So about this video lol. I went skiing this past winter with a bunch of friends and got a GoPro HD HERO 2. Let me tell you this camera is SICK! Shoots in crystal clear HD and very easy to use. I bought a 16gig memory card for the camera and barely filled it. The camera is so easy to mount too. 

    This why my first attempt at trying to land a hand drag, and as you can tell it did not turn out well. Basically  a hand drag is when u dive backwards and slide your hands along the knuckle of a ramp. I could't get my legs up enough and well you can see what happens. At least i had a pretty awesome bail!

First off you need two macros

splitting macro

Buying macro

   Make sure to put them in TWO SEPARATE macro's
   Next step put all you gold bars in the FIRST (1) slot of you back pack, making sure the SECOND (2) slot is EMPTY. Simple click the split macro once, then the buy macro, and boom you bought an emblem easily.
   Why should i bother with the macro? Because if you don't macro then you have to split each one by hand and that gets tedious when you can simple push two buttons.

          Hello everyone and welcome to Mcpuff's Game Strategy blog. I have been gaming for about 10 years now, and wanted to start giving back to the community. Very first game i ever played was Unreal Tournament back in 2002. I have played a wide variety of games from PC, to Xbox, from RTS to MMORPG's. Games like Star Craft, World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, Fall out 3, Warhammer, and the list goes on...
         Basically i want to give back to the gaming community by creating videos and posts. I want to cover a lot such as startegys for games, gameplay of new and upcoming games, and even game reviews. The newest game that I am going to start with is TERA. It is currently in BETA which i have a key for. I will write about gameplay, the UI, the feel of the game compared to other MMO's and much more.
